E.U. featuring Sugar Bear will be performing the weekend of November 7-9, 2025 at the 82nd National Folk Festival @NFFJackson! Produced by @NCTA1933 in partnership with the City of Jackson, this exuberant, FREE multicultural festival features performances and demonstrations by the nation’s finest traditional artists. Check out the full program at: www.nationalfolkfestival.com. DESCRIPTION: FREE outdoor event (rain or shine) • Six performance stages • Approximately 300 participating artists • First held in 1934, the National Folk Festival is the oldest multicultural festival of traditional arts in the nation. • The National’s stay has seeded legacy festivals (all free) in many former host communities including: the Montana Folk Festival (Butte, MT), the Lowell Folk Festival (Lowell, MA), the North Carolina Folk Festival (Greensboro, NC), the Richmond Folk Festival (Richmond, VA), and the Maryland Folk Festival (Salisbury, MD) • 2025 is the first year of the National’s 3-year residency in Jackson; the city will be the host city for three consecutive years—2025, 2026, and 2027. • This is the first time in the festival’s long history that it has been presented in Mississippi—often considered the birthplace of America’s music—as well as the Deep South.
